cops & tim hortons

don't know whether this is a repost question, but is it just me or do cops get free coffee and stuff from tim hortons????? i sat and watch, and had 3 cops coming in which all didn't have to paid a cent (of course all of them placed their hand in their pocket and shoke it a bit before the guy at the front said "it's ok".

Well.. being a supervisor at Tim Hortons, our store gives them free drinks. But not suppose to be any food. Some stores are different. I think a free coffee and **** is a small price to pay for what they do for us every day

i use to work at one

the woman i worked with told me only give it to them for free if they want a small order.
but i use to hook them up with all the stuff and throw in extra donuts and stuff like that all the time.

they bust their asses off pulling over dumb ricers and keeping the streets safe, so they deserve it.

a lot of franchises give out free food/drinks.. or at a discount..

it's like any other protection racket. if you pays protection fees to a biker gang, you're not going to charge them for a beer when they come into your bar for a pint.

When my Mom worked at McDonalds a million years ago, I believe they gave free food to police officers as well.

they're probably shaking they're hand in their pocket because they are humble, and are ready and willing to pay for their food, but the workers at timmies just give it to them.

When i worked at subway, we gave 50% off to all police, fire fighters and ambulence drivers.

maybe you are revving your engine too much or doing something to not be a normal driver and attract too much attention.

ya one time i was at the 7-11 beside high park and two pigs walked in and grabed 2 slurpies and a couple of other munchies,
as they walked out without paying they waived at the 7-11 clerk

I used to work at a Tim Horton's and my manager/supervisors told me to give cops free food/drinks because "they watch over the store". Frankily, I never see them anywhere near my old store except when they are ordering coffee or food. I'm not too sure if that applies to sandwiches/bagels/etc, because all the cops that used to come in would just get a couple of coffees and the occasional donut or muffin.
