And the thing about it being a thanks to the community is true. thats exactly what it is. i live in a small town and everyone pretty much knows everyone... cops are friendly here, and to me its a small token of respect..
probably true in a small town, etc..... can't say the same for TO

i used to work at Tim Hortons aswell, and i usually made them pay. then again i usually saw maybe one cop a month at my store

i just don't understand why they should get free/discounted stuff. okay so their job is potentially dangerous, but so are others.

oh i read it, but everytime i could of used some help from the police (when my house and car got robbed) they did **** all.

and for people saying they probably wouldn't be able to do anything, my neighbours had extremely good descriptions. i later found out who did it, called the police again, but like last time they did nothing.

so thank you NOT

a lot of cops r nice...but sum r just ******..seriously man...ive known some nice ones..some cops r really nice tho, like genuinly intreseted in your well being, the kind that dont give u demerit points even tho u derserve them, and the kinda that just let u off on warnings

but some cops r lazy POS that like to fil quotas and nothing ele..i kno this because we have a resturant and our partner just so happens to be a retired cop..and he tells me stories, and even ways to talk to police to avoide getting a ticket
