^^ It's probably couldn't than wouldn't, b/c with all the street racers/speeders out there that's a hot topic in recent days, they take this as a priority call. It's a shame they weren't there at that time to stop these senseless deaths.

It's horrible what happened and that no1 could prevent it but unless the guy is here illegally, or whatever, then there would be no reason to deport him...

He should be put in jail for 20 years and never allowed to drive again under any circumstance. Im so goddamn sick of hearing about stories like this were people with 2-3 DUIs end up killing someone. Any one like that ever hurt anyone I know I would beat them with a golf club, hearing about stuff like this makes me angry. Shame on our pathetic government, they allow people with money to buy their way out of DUI convictions and all I can hear on the news is stupid bull**** about street racing blah blah blah.

Your argument makes a pretty strong assumption

#1) You assume he is an immigrant b/c of his name....what if the guy was born here and his parents and their parents were born here? When you said deport him, you obviously meant to his home-country....in this case CANADA....


I feel for the family that just lost their mother/father....grandparents.....but I also think he deserves to rot in jail forever...with no chance of parole...this guy is a recidivist and he deserves a harsh sentence....

I don't believe that my assumption is a strong one.

My knee-jerk reaction to his manslaughtering 2 into an oncoming train might be a little too intense.

Perhaps a stay in rehab, 5 years in minimum security, coupled with some years of therapy will reform his poor soul into an outstanding citizen.

Gosh darn it.... everyone deserves a 2nd..3rd..4th..5th chance.
