My CIBC VISA is just there, no perks, nothing, I think $15 fee for the yr. 19.5% interest. A little pointless in having really.
cibc is largest issuer of credit cards in canada and they have the most elaborate reward programs among all issuers. if you have any banking relationship with them or your account is in good standing....you should upgrade to either their 'dividend' card or get the áerogold one. its unbeatable value...the fees on these is kinda high though...like over 100 dollars per year but it pays you back.

on a similar note...the rbc avion is truly a great product as well. their reward and redemption levels are pretty well placed compared to the rest of the market.

Start using a card with rewards then. Time for you to find a better card.

The more you use it, the more rewards you get. Start redeeming.

My classic II collects pts. For every 3000 pts ($3000) spend unto visa = $25 gift card to various retailers. At the end of every year I get enough pts for around $200 to $275 in Futureshop gift cards.

I should check into the Avion card. I never really checked into other cards to see what perks there are.
