Canadian Tire Options Mastercard is the best... no annual fee and the loyalty is far stronger than most cards out there.

ps - if/when you apply, apply through one of the "guys" in the store...you will get your card sooner. Also, do not put your occupation as student...you will get rejected.

This is a card that is currently in test but you can apply on the site... and get up to 10c off per litre at Canadian Tire Gas Bars

i have a BMO mastercard with cash back and no annual fee. i also have an amex with airmiles. thinking of also getting the optimum visa or pc card and then maybe cancelling the amex.
