No **** sites. I should check for spyware though.

I looked on the CAA site and they have this Identity Insurance thing where they will keep an eye on your credit information. They send you a credit report as well, however, I did not want to sign up for it. I do not think I need a relatively expensive annual service like that.

I called Equifax and TransUnion and got flags put on my credit report so that I have to be contacted at my home phone number if I (or anyone else) tries to get credit in my name. With Equifax it was free, but with TransUnion it cost $5. Oh well, TransUnion should be including a credit report, so I want that to take a look and make sure everything is legit.

Brett, I have heard another story like your's where the fraudulent charges were immediately reversed. I am not sure why they are leaving mine on their while they investigate.

Thanks everyone!

Transunion is:
transunion.ca
1-800-663-9980

Equifax is:
equifax.com
1-800-465-7166

You can get credit reports for free by regular mail. Or you can buy them online. Equifax over the phone I think is free, Transunion is $5. Either one you would have to pay if you want your actual credit score.

You can get a full credit report from Equifax and it cost 23 dollars. It will give you everything you have under your ID as far as credit is concerned along with the numbers you would need to call each credit department if there is an error.

This is something everyone should do every so often to ensure that you are not being frauded. The Transunion flag is also a good idea.

Even if you haven't had any issues, its still a good idea to see your credit score and where you are at with all your credit. Sometimes you may have delinquant cards that you forgot about still showing up on your profile.

Holy schmolly! Never had a problem here. I have an Option mastercard.

If you want ****, to go tube8.com. No viruses. Make sure to scan EVERYTHING with a decent anti-virus like Avast.com, it's free and works great.

As for credit checking, i do it myself via internet banking. Every couple of days i go online and check. Be careful with the credit checks like free credit reports, they will downgrade your credit rating.
