Damn Oshawa roads

i was on taunton yesterday by simcoe, they are resurfacing the road, avoided one sewer sticking about 8 inchs up, then didn't see one coming up, bang, catches a clamp on the exhaust, rips it off the frame by the axle, and takes out a 6 inch chunk of my FRAME
damn shwa

I feel your pain. I take the 401 through Courtice everyday and the middle lane used to be all potholes, they finally resurfaced it ending my worries.

Thanks for the heads up about Tuanton Rd, I'll make sure to avoid that road. I think we should start a forum or thread where we share this ever so important information with follow members.

an 8" piece of shyt sticking up outta the road is BS..
tell them next time to just build curbs across the raod..same height..

would they tell the NSX owner to F/O too??
doubt it..or the corvette owner?? doubt that too..

check your ground clearance and compare that to factory heights on other vehicles..
my guess is you have more space then some cars available..

Those are the same sewers that caused my rear passenger tire to blow.

OH NO I hope shes alright!
Try to 411 oshawa works dept. Ask who to call and complain or find out. Look in the phone book at those 1800 numbers and call.
If you keep trying someone will know where to guide you to the right number.

Ah yes the slalom course I drive past every day

I am not sure if he would have a case here, signs are clearly posted about the raised manhole covers, and each are painted bright orange.

well she is fixed
only $145 cause of connections, found out the city is not responsible because as long as the construction is clearly marked, for ex: orange paint on the sewers, they don't have to do ****

i have issues

okay all i drive an 85 camaro stock height nothing special and today driving to school (stupidly on taunton thinking it was well marker or obvious) i almost took off my rear bumper and screwed up my tire....i'm calling miller and having a fit, the sign they have saying raised manhole covers is after 3-4 raised manholes so technically we who got hurt can go after them...well after bitching out a construction worker i still didn't feel better so on to more people....my uncle works for Barricade traffic services and I did a stint working for him, and the signs are the responsibility of the road construction company which they obviously screwed up today.....so calling miller to complain and then calling the city! Anyone injured is free to join me!
(hope this message makes sense, i'm way too tired from school)
