Christopher Reeves was a jerk off. He only become an activist after he suffered from the damage. He was in it for himself.

If a healthy person devotes themselves to a disease that does not personally affect them, then you can call that person a good person.

Not a selfish as5hole.

another celebrity died. whoopdee doo.

what about all the the Iraqs murdered by the States? What about all the innocent people killed by the Jihaders.

Why does one dumb broad get an RIP thread and not all these other people? Just because she's a singer? Big deal. Just because she quit her job to look after her dying husband? wouldn't everyone here do the same?

what the hell does it matter to any of you that superman's wife died. seriously.

out of the three of you who posted above me, can any of you mention anything about this person that you knew before reading this thread (and maybe other links related to this matter?)

WHy do you pretend to care?

There are 6 billion of us. One more loss isn't gonna make a difference.

it's a sign of respect...

how does a person die from lung cancer if she never smoked in her life?

and her husband died within a year of her death...how hard would that be on the kids.

stop being a jackass about this...have more respect.
Your probobly one of those ******** that dosen't pull over when a funeral procession is being driven through the streets because hell in your opinion it's just another person that died, 6 billion more

he did more then you have ever done. What if he did it to help...we all have turning points in life where you realize you need to do something that will help others and possibly help yourself.

What was he supposed to do? sit as a vegtable and not try? I would have done the same thing if I was him. At LEAST he did something or put effort into helping others

no, he put effort into helping himself. He didn't do anything wrong by promoting a cure for his disease, but he wasn't exactly being benevelont or caring about it. He wanted to be cured. That's not caring. "Everyone let's get together and cure me" isn't something that I find very generous and loving.

sure, it's a tragedy to their kids. But there are lots of early deaths that happen. I have lost a number of people, and young, over the years, but I don't go around advertising that my friend died in a motorcycle accident. You don't see me putting out details about a friend of mine who died in a can crash while breaking out prison. You don't see me talking about my friend who died cause a drunk driver hit him.

Why? Cause I don't expect any of you to care. If you don't know the person, then you really can't care. How many children starve to death every day across the earth. You care about this? How much effort have you put in to help them. Every night you go out for dinner, you can have saved some money and let a child live for at least another week with that money assuming it went to an honourable charity (good luck finding one)

i'd rather be a disrespectful jackass instead of a fake jackass pretending to care. You say RIP on an internet forum and go home. That's a sign of respect? That's a sign of human decency?

I have a feeling none of you care either.

I think it's safe to say none of you are going to lose sleep over the passing away of a stranger.

i agree with bruce fee to an extent. he's not a hero in the sense that he had a disease and wanted to get a cure. that doesn't make him a hero, just smart. he had a disease and got people to round up funds to try to cure it.

his wife, being a celebrity and all, puts her life on hold to take care of him. who they hell wouldn't? is it because she stopped making music that is was a grand gesture? was it that no one else would have done the same? i commend her for doing so, but i don't see why people are glorifying it as it is the ultimate sacrifice.

regardless of the details, there should always be respect for the dead. i'm not pretending to care about the person or people affected, but a life lost is still a life lost. whether christopher reeve died, his wife, a victom of a ********* attack, in the end someone still lost a life. I feel bad for the kids.

hahaha.. Constance, I do Yoga once a week.. it's excellent for flexibility and balance. Two very important aspects of fighting.

One of my boys comes with me, and we participate in a class with 50 year old housewives. We've been invited to the advanced class already.

I dunno what yoga has to do with some random woman dying though.

I'm not negative. I'm realistic, and I do care for political correctness.
