A Day w/o Internet

In the Toronto Sun today, they're setting up a date (Sat. March 24th) as the International Shutdown Day. A day without internet.
Who on here can go without the net for the day?

I know I can. Done it many times without realizing it.

if i'm not working, i can do it no problem.

but my work revolves around email and receiving information off of head office's database

yeah, as long as it doesn't happen on a day when i'm at work....

Other than that, damn, alot of the weekends i'm never on the internet

Can't work without the internet but before I usto be hooked to the net now its just meh. I havent been on the net since like thursday and today is sunday.

Internet...probably not...well if Im away from my home then yeah sure no problem.

If I am at my cottage for a week or so I go without internet, TV, etc.

I can go for long periods of time without TV at home but not internet.

I must agree...as long as it is not work related, I can go more than 1 day sometimes it;s like 2-3, that could be because I stare that the computer all day at work!

the writers of the Sun need a life...

sure I could go without the internet for a day (I do it quite frequently), but why would I want to?...thats like saying "I could do without my dishwasher", why would I want to do that??...
