Diefference btween Si and Sir

i didt know which section to put it in...so i put it here

what are the differences betwenn the Si and Sir?

i know the engine is the big one (d16y8 vs. B16) and i kno the gauge lights up red/amber...and the SIR has the lip kit

what else?

thats it.
oem fogs, rear lip, optional spoiler i didnt add to the list because they were an option and were applicable to any car yet people still call them SIR FOGS OR SIR REAR LIP imo ghey.

imo this is the most significant advandate over the si.. you can take turns a lot faster as the lower rotational mass of the steering wheel allows you to turn it quicker

and they wont steal ur dx taht u tried to make look like an sir by getting sir rims, spoiler and exhaust ? why? they will take whatever they want cx. dx, lx si , sir

well, if an SiR is sitting beside a stock CX, I'm pretty sure they'll be more interested in the SiR,....

D16Y8 is a great motor. I was proud to have that motor for 8 years 305,000km.

B16........I wasted my money........It's ok and all but.........I'll be the first to say this......D16Y8 is my favorite over my B16.....

ive posted reasons as to why the d series is better on some thread abotu a d series taking a beating in the media section

The D16Y8 has it's advantages over the B16, what they are i'm not sure, but for power its the B16, gas efficency probably would be the D16Y8. You have your choices, its personal prefernce, thats all

Yeah yeah, and this is a long *** argument that will never end. Besides, he asked what the difference is between an SI and SIR, not which is better, so lets keep it on subject............

with the money saved on insurance by buying any other model, you can convert it to sir spec and still pay less in the end
