3.2 megapixes is enough for your purposes and it's in your price range. At full resolution, 5X7 prints are almost like print pictures.

For a digi-cam, you have to decide first your maximum budget. Then, what features are important for you, what size (physical and pixel). how fast the recording is, mpeg mode, what format of memory you want, flipping screen, etc....

I am now on my second camera. My first one was a Sony Cybershot with 1.3 megapixel. I have no regrets with that and now I just bought a Kyocera SL300R which is 3.2 megapixel and the size of a cigarette box. I don't think the Kyocera is available in Canada though....

hmm well the max i'd like to spend is around $400... as long as i can post up good pics on the net and maybe print out a few then i'm happy .... so i should be ok with a 3.2mp?

I spent $200 on mine at future shop and its a good camera,

the megapixels dont really matter if you want normal pics, the only difference with higher megapixels is that if you want to enlarge the pic it will not be as good quality

Mine's some Kodak on, 2.0 mp

I love cannon as well, out of all the cameras i have looked at, cannons always have the best pics for point and shoot, the image quality is very nice, there not that pricey either, next id choose a fuji

check out steves digicams for the best ones and reviews

well as loca boo indicated i did pick up a camera tonight..

i went with the canon A75... went a bit over budget.. well actually a lot over budget but its a pretty decent camera.. does movies with sound and all that jazz

heres some shaky hand pics from about 3 mins ago... there also "action" pics so they probably are worse cause of that too.. but all in all not a bad deal
