Digital Camera Help??

i bought my camera at futureshop. it's not cheaper than pmall but if you wait for a promotion (i got a $30 gift card w/ my purchase) then the price evens out. and i'm pretty sure you'll have a lot easier time trying to exchange a broken camera at futureshop than any store at pmall.

I just found out that Best Buy does price matching. you should give them a call and find out if they carry that model or not. if they do then buy it and get an ad from a store at pmall (or any other online offer from a local store) and Best Buy will beat that price by 10% of the difference!

same camera just costs a **** loads more... if that is my last option, then yes I'll buy it.
thanks man... just looking. Some sites don't ship to Canada.
One more thing - about the warranty. It is one year right? Does it matter where you get the cam? I mean, they'll just tell you to ship it back to the manufacturer for repairs anyeways, right?

Sorry but you're wrong about the A70 and the A300 being the exact same camera.
The A300 is a basic P&S camera while the A70 has way more controls. In fact about the only thing that is the same is that they are both 3.2 Megapixels. You get what you pay...the A70 offers FULL manual controls (ie Shutter and Aperature priority). The A70 also has a 3X optical zoom where as the A300 has NO optical zoom and just a digital zoom which is next to useless. The A70 also offers a wide selection of scene modes that the A300 does not have.
Of course if you do not require manual controls for shutter speed or aperature, a zoom, or scene modes then i guess the A300 is the more economical choice.

Hey... I don't know what those things are, all I know it press and done, then load onto the computer, the rest is history. I think I'll be pretty happy with the camera. Not like I'll be taking **** pics of girls and demands great quality. All I need is point, shot, and done.
Thanks for the help thou.
