i have a dsc-p73 4.1mp sony. I really like it. the batteries last for a long time and additioal rechargables are cheap like 10$ at walmart. i got a 256mb card(lexar) for 60$ at walmart also but have seen the same card since then for 50$ at best buy... i have posted this before but here is a 4.1 pic (shrunk to fit into photobucket...)

^^^ neither one of those pictures is exposed properly, doent it bother you that your camera does not meter light properly?

sony just doesnt make good cameras.. they may look pretty, but they just dont perform as good as others

so which is it? no it does not bother me.... i'm doing this for fun. those are just ones i like.

Canon A85 here. I love it. It's a million times better then the Kodak I was using. The Panasonic rechargeables that came with it last a very long time too.

I have a sony cybershot 4.1 mega pixel. Im very satisfied with that and enjoy it so much, takes good pictures as well.

if you leave it in automode, you leave too much to the camera, which you probably did and heve you get the exposure problems. once you get into manually control your camera, you have way more control. the problem is that a lot of little digicams dont allow you much control over them.

any camera can give you "good" results, but sometimes "good" is not good enough, and some allow you to get "good" pictures easier, while allowing to take "excellent" pictures with a bit of effort and skill and knowledge.

I like well...love my canon a85...prolly the best bang for buck on the market right now...I've tested many brands and models and the canon for me always comes on top...almost any picture u will see from me is canon based
