So I am considering getting direct satellite from the U.S.A., you know “direct satellite” with those card that you don’t pay anything for.

Anyways I need to know if you guys have any opinion on the if this is illegal in Canada or not and I need proof. Not just I say so stuff I need actual proof, laws, bills, arguments that support that this is not illegal in Canada.

So if you got proof, post it or PM me.

I wont get into it - but the DTV signal is encrypted. You're tapping their encrypted signal for free. Techinically it's illegal - but it's one of those things nobody does anything about.

ok so if i call the police station and ask if it's illegal they will ask for my name and address and come and carge me if I call right? i need a good argument for this.. can anyone find info in the net about it? i've looked, but have been unsuccesful.

its a grey area here
you can tell them you have it but they can't do anything about it cause its american not Canadian
but don't bother telling them anyways
why would you want to tell them?

but its the worlds biggest grey area cause its in canada but its an american product thats only for americans and american police can't do anything about it cause its in canada
unless you are dumb enough to go to the states to get your cards
