Divx
Just converted a Divx (avi) movie into an MPEG and the video quality is not as sharp as the Divx. Is there any way to sharpen it up or is that the way it just is. I want to put the MPEG on VCD so I want it to be as sharp as possible.
Thanks.
BTW how would you compress a video (to a smaller size i.e. 900Mb to 700Mb) without losing quality in audio or video?
I have ULead Video Studio 6, TMPGEnc, and VirtualDub if that helps any.
Thanks.

Wow!! So many responses in such a short time. Thanks
Anyway, the video quality is not "that" bad. There's some slight pixelation but I'm just picky and can probably live with it.
The Divx is about 696Mb and the converted mpeg is 907Mb. It's all movie content.
Conversion only took about 3hrs Used virtualdub to extract the audio and then TMPGEnc to encode it to an mpeg.
If there's no other way to get the mpeg file smaller so it'd fit on a cd-r then I guess I'll just have to split the file and have 2 cd-rs.
