Do you always wear a seat belt?

A friend of mine passed away on Friday night in a car accident.

He was known for not wearing a seatbelt. It's so bad that his death could have probably been avoided had he worn his. He was known for not wearing it often.

I always wear mine just because it's a habit, I don't consider it something I need when I get into my car, but I don't see any disadvantages to wearing one when I'm in a car...

A good reason why (some guy head gets crushed)

I almost feel naked not wearing one when I drive. Accidents can happen from 02 seconds, 2min, 1hr + into the drive.

because its cheaper if you walk away then to have all the emergency people come and deal with you mashed up dead body, so they make it a pain in the *** for you NOT to wear one.

i wear mine in the front seat 99% of the time, 60% of the time in the back seat...100% of the time if i see a cop...

Always, it's a habit. You should see my kids freak if I start to drive and they haven't buckled up. So I know if I forget to, they will always let me know for sure!

Bruce, Im sorry your friend passed away on friday RIP... suprised no one else said anything...

I always wear mine... most accidents happen two blocks from home...

I've been in a few accidents (me not driving) and everytime I've had my seat belt on, I've never not worn it-I guess only in a limo..

Sure seatbelts may cause harm to some, like a rope burn or digging in ( I had this happen from the buckle, I have a nice scar now on my hip) but if I hadnt been wearing it, where would I be now?...

and to the person who asked why we get tickets for not wearing seatbelts, I guess the police look at it that if you're that careless with your life and to lazy to put on a seatbelt, maybe you'll be a careless driver and endanger other people, also, if you were in an accident and were ejected out of the car into on coming traffic, you would cause another accident and endanger an innocent life...
