does anybody know how to use Adobe ImageReady to make animated .GIF's

i really don't know how to do it but i want an animated gif as my avitar.....can ne one help...??

dude, like I said...its complicated...ur better off using animation shop...but I'm sure there are tutorials online on using imageready, I just couldnt be bothered to do so

easiest thing i've used is babrosa?! or something gif editor

just do a quick search on www.download.com gif maker/creator or w/e

ur bound to find something, u don't need anything special if it's just for a signature or avatar

but i have a mac and im having a hard time finding decent programs to do this task...

i already have ImageReady installed and i heard you can use it for this sort-of-thing....

i just wanted to learn how to use it

well since u have a mac and imageready (nice combo) look online for tutorials and u'll find what ur lookin for ....most photoshop and imageready online tutorials are pretty thourough and will walk you through step by step

I remember with Imageready, you create each layer as a different frame then save it as .gif file. You can also set the delay time so the image plays faster or slower.

image ready is pretty easy to use.. make a file in photoshop with the different images you want on seperate layers and then save it as a .psd then open it up in image ready and make as many frames as you want and open/close the layers on the frame for whatever image you want.. and of course you can do different features between frames.. fading and stuff..
