If you are a owner, or was an owner of either of those two phones, can you let me know? I have one more day to decide which one to get, and I have questions. I don't trust those rogers guys..they will say anything to make a sale.

I used to own a Samsung X426, and a Motorla V600.

The difference between the X426, and the E316, was the camera and dual lcd.

The difference between the V551, and the V600, was the looks, and software I believe.

Out of the two, I would get the Motorla

 

although I haven't ever owned a v551, I have had a motorola phone in the past (v66), worst phone ever, the only thing it had going for it was its size, felt flimsy, bad reception, mediorcre battery life, no volume in the ear peice, and it broke 3 months out of its warrentee. Thus I won't buy another motorola. Also I know a few people who have motorola camera flip phones (v551 included) and most of them have had them in for repairs (under warrentee but still). Rogers offered me a re-furb x426 when my v66 broke (x426 is similiar to the e316 I hear), and everyone told me it was a great phone, but I ended up getting a Sony Ericsson (t616) and its amazing, the best phone I have ever had (only thing that sucks is the camera isn't that great but I don't care)....

 

i got a v551 and its been a good phone to me besides having to go into repairs twice and then they finally replaced it i was told by the motorola rep. that it had a fuilty circuit board but since its been replaced (been about 4 months) its been great to me
