purple drank is a culmination of whatever booze and juice is left over at the end of a party or what is you throw together with whatever booze and mix that is available before you get on the party bus/limo etc...it usually ends up purple for some reason and it gets you way twisted
purple drank is actually a drink mixture with its main ingredient being cough syrup containing codeine, which is also why it's called purple codeine.
This drank is mentioned many times in hiphop lyrics and the most famous song was by 3-6 Mafia "Sippin on some sizzorp"

duh, yes...if u wanna drank cough syrup thats cool...but our purple drank aint gonna make you slo-mo...this purple drank gets you kicked out of clubs and bars all over cuz you be wild y0!
and you dont mix promenthazine codiene with alcohol bro, u mix it with 7up/sprite or juice so you dont puke it all up since they add stuff to it to make you vomit if u take too much of it...drop a jolly rancher or 2 in it to add a litte fruit sensation.
I've done it, its cool and all but not really something to be out and about on...things get too slow
