I go to Petro Canada on Martin Grove & Dixon for the drive through car wash.. my car comes out crystal clean.

If you wax your car properly.. it shouldn't scratch.
That's cuz wax acts as a protectant for the paint from being scratched.

i wouldn't trust those heavy flappy things running all over my car.... just hearing them slap the side of the car would be enough for me....

hand washing can't be beat

I hand wash all the time.. but sometimes when you wanna just get it done and over with fast.. I send it through the machine.

In the winter.. I'm a HUGE fan of the automated car washes.

Othertimes.. I take a bucket of hot water and wash my car down with that...

But then my driveway becomes a skating rink.

Underbody wash option you get with "the works" package usually gets the underbody

Or at least it gets mine.

Yep! The works sprays the underbody of your car.

Touchless or Touch car washes... it sprays it.

And... a lot of PETRO CANADA gas stations GUARANTEE their car washes.. if it's not clean the first time.. they'll re-wash it!

"my underbody is dirty.. I want it rewashed."
they'll rewash it.

I find the Sunoco touchless washes suck.. don't get all the dirt and grime off the car.... and if you wipe off the excess water with a chamois u can see HELLA dirt on the chamois

The only touchless car wash around me is located in an Esso station and if you don't buy gas then it's like $2 or $3 more so I just stay home and wash it myself... don't like the Esso gas.

Try going to one of those coin op ones, if it isn't too dirty just use the high pressure spray and get the junk off.

Guy I work with used to work at a gas station and he told me that the auto washes hardly do anything and that the "touchless" ones are a waste of money (he used to work at a local Petro)
He also said that they hardly the brushes/flap things are hardly washed (yuck) Not to mention how it scratches your paint...
From what he told me don't ya think its better to do it yourself and have it done the right way?
But to each their own...
