Driving a 2002 Civic DX Sedan

Well my car went into Honda today to have a cold weather suspension problem looked at, so now I'm driving this car. Boy do you ever take for granted what you have, and you really miss it when you don't have it

Why are you on the Civic forum telling us how much better your car is The sticker is almost double that of a base Civic to begin with. And they don't even make your car anymore...too heavy and too expensive.

My parents have a 2001 civic LX sedan, and even though its Auto, and only 115 hp, it not bad I really like it. Real comfortable ride compared to mine.

I am not putting down Civics in general, I have driven a 98 Si, and it too feels different than this 2002 Sedan. Anyway, it still drives nicer that my mother's 2000 Cavalier. I just miss my baby.

I've driven a 2000 prelude before...really torquey. Very nice engine sounds, and you really feel the VTEC on these as opposed to the SOHC VTECs. It pulls hard in any gear at any speed. Kinda felt like a VR6 Golf when accelerating. I've driven both, and both were a real pleasure.

I must agree with electronblue on this one, i drove alot of cars including my friends 2002 civic lx, many Si's, etc. When I drove my friends 2000 Prelude Sh, oh man that car is beautiful, I love it, it's confortable, it's got power, it's got everything. If I had the money I would definetly buy a prelude

I still remember how everyone say it's FUGLY when it (6th prelude) 1st came out. Now I feel sorry for getting the 6th Gen Accord instead of Prelude!

Go back to the 7th Gen. Civic. Not sure about the coupe, but I have driven 2 4dr 7th Gen so far...it just doesn't feel right.. and it's design is going backward...

Look at the Corolla...it has improved quite a bit in last few years!
Poor us Honda owners still stuck with less than 120 horses stock Civic!

regards,
Mugen C

Yes and no except for short ram intake and painted headlight housing.

I have an engine in my garage, but it will be going in the spring, D16Y8.

Well I decided to give it a good run on the 407 last night (they should be real happy about that ooops) burned some major carbon build up off, and now it is running 10 times better. I am still not used to the suspension though.
