Driving to Florida?

Hey does anyone know how long it would take to drive down to Florida, if you were to drive non-stop?? Just out of curiousity. Friends might be going, and i wouldn't mind tagging along, did some search, people say approx. 23 hours.
correct??
anybody done it before?

basically anywhere from 20-24 hours, roughly the same as if you were to drive from Toronto to Nova Scotia.

where in Florida are you going?

Its a nice drive.. Done it about 20 times now.. If i were you if someone has a CAA membership - goto caa and they will print you off a route map including all speed traps.. which really helps..

Also.. grab a cb radio and hook it up.. helps to be aware.. truckers know where the smokeys are and they will tell you. Just stick with a group of trucks all the way down.. You'll make great time that way!

ya man u play highway tag with the truckers and it makes the drive fun, plus they always know where the "smokeys" are and when they slow play along... the drive itself is like other said 20-24 hours depends on how u drive... ITs a fun drive i like it in the winter by the time u hit tennessee/kentucky its all warm and what not, u should definatley tag along well worth it..

yeah CB radio is definatley worth it for the trip, and 20 - 24 hours depends on how many breaks you take, my preference has been more breaks each lasting a shorter amount of time, instead of a few longer breaks....

CB radio, Radar Detector, 100 CD's or an iPod lol and you'll be good to go

Key question, what kind of car are you taking there? No way in hell would I make that trip in a Civic. Way too small for us big guys on the long haul.
