intresting so give or take, if your going to pull straight and have like 2-3 drivers, you can probably do that in like 18-21 hours than,

now do you guys speed? or do you do the average 100-120 km/h

cool ch. 19, nice nice, yeah it'd be very intresting drive if we do go.

is there any specific route anybody takes that might seem faster than another route?

i am a caa member, but i've never went on that site before so i'm not even sure how to look but i'll fool around with and see if i can get a map with all the speed traps and what not.

i'm pretty sure radar detectors are legal in MOST states, and even then i'd get one cuz one ticket is a bitch, you have to send in your money in American $$, and alot of the places have agreements with ontario that they'll enforce ontario's fines and ontario will enforce their fines, i'd rather buy a radar detector and return it on the way up it's all about returning stuff u need to use but don't want to keep

yes, bestbuy in the us. bestbuy in NY had the passport 8500 which is supposed to be very good according to tests by motor trend and a few others. it comes with blue or red LED's...blue is more expensive.

and yes its buy in us, return in us type of thing since they are illegal here, which would make it kinda hard to return it.

interesting....how do you know that. for all you know he drives 180km/h when he gets a chance...still think he wouldn't need it then.

i say do whatever you can to make the odds fair you won't get a ticket. yes, if you drive 100km/h the whole way, you won't need it...cause your not speeding. if you like to do a resonable 130km/h or so, then why not either buy it or a CB...atleast have something.

its not cause its the us or anything...but think about it, when your driving 40-50 hours (there and back) odds are good you'll see a few cops right.

Ive only driven that route about 20 times or so.. radar detectors are useless.. get a cd radio and and the truckers know where they are.

Just do about 10 mph over the speed limit and your fine.. if a group of truckers zips by you tag along.. its easy.

When going through beckley (hwy 19) i believe, its a speed trap area - so go easy.
