They haven't determined yet (I dont think) if that man was actually a farmer, I think he just wanted some publicity.

The farmers are also protesting against the Mcguinty greenbelt protection act, which I believe would prevent them from selling their property to others to use as real estate. So in that sense they have all this land and they can't even turn it over to any one else.

This guy said it all (#2 anyway), I don't even have to type.

What a fukin dumbass. Then they send him to the hospital. What a waste of time and space, I would have just thrown the moron in Lake Ontario, make him fukin freeze to death.

Good one guys stupid idiots.. and if u keep watchin u see that he surrenders and drops the knives .. and again our brilliant police force thinks HEY get him now hes unarmed and they pepper spray him .. hmmm maybe they shoulda tried that when he had the knives .. man i dont get where all this time in training goes case as far as i see they are too puss to do anything other than shoot / taze / and ram **** ...
make sure u read what you 'think' you're agreeing with because Bruce Fee and you have totally different ideas.

I agree with Bruce...

what the heck do you think they're supposed to do, they're cops and they're people to. So ur telling me if some guy had a knife you'd wait till he stabbed u to take it off him? If we just let natural selection run its course and help nature along in some cases the world would be a better place. How much you wanna bet that knife weilding guy is going to cause some violence when he gets out of jail in a few months/weeks whatever, and that this burning guy will do something equally as stupid when he gets released as well.

I wonder what hurt more. The slight burning sensation or the 2 fire hoses full blast in the face.

I read in the newspaper this morning that the guy had to be taken to the hospital not only for the burns, but for because the cop smashed the window in, the split his head open too.

Now all of you cop-hating fairies will really be crying excessive force.

DumbasSi, I don't like a lot of police I have met... but I don't think the police did anything wrong in this case.... who cares about this idiot.. if you're pouring gasoline on yourself.. whatever... anything other than disposing your body is a waste of my tax money!

Even though this isn't, I support police brutality. If you got guns and are a coke dealer, I'm fine with the police beating you for kicks. It's part of the game. That's what rival gangs to all the time, why would the boys in blue be any different? I just don't like cops harrassing kids for little things like they used to do to me all the time.

And they're horrible liars.

"Officer, I'd like to know why I was pulled over."

"There was a report of a stolen black SUV in the area."

I mean c'mon, at least say the model of the car I'm driving. Who says "My silver coupe was stolen?!"

You would say "my honda civic was stolen. it is a coupe" or something similair.... if you're going to lie.. at least be good at it!!

i think cops in toronto durham and york are not agressive enough...
they had to do what they did, they did not know if the whole an was full with fuel, so they have to stop it before more peopel get hurt, not just about the one guy in the van, but the other people around and on the streets...

my friend almost got stabbed by a hot dog vendor on the weekend, the vendor didn't want to sell the guy a hot dog for whatever reason and when the guy kept insisting the vendor pulled out a knife and chased him down the street...

hahah while the other guys helped themselves to hot dogs from the guys card... what a tool
