Election 2006

The election is coming up on Janurary 23 2006 and this is a tcc poll to see who tcc is hoping comes out on top.

Parties have been arranged based on their last performance available at (http://www.sfu.ca/~aheard/elections/standings.html) Your votes are anonymous and you can vote only once. So use it wisely.

I know many people think that voting is a waste of time and all and its a scam so I put that as an option. If you have anything you want to say about any of the parties.. here is a good place

I just vote for whoever my parents tell me to vote for. Politics bore me to death. I really can't be bothered with so much fake promises of this and that.

great... like some many other youths in this country.... Stand up for your future and make your own decision! I mean seriously if you sit down and look at the platforms and make a decision of your own based on that then you are doing the right thing.

anyways I choose independant there because I'm voting green.

^^ I was going to put green on that list seperate from independent but when I made the poll it didnt hit me to do so.
Also I am a yonger voter (19) and have looked at the websites and tried my best to make an informed decision for me. I try and get my friends to vote (not tell them Who to vote for but To vote).
The other day my dads girlfirends friend came over and to my dads house and we were talking about it and she said shes going to vote for paul martin because he looks like a better speaker and seems more confident. LOL

Haha...with only two of us who voted so far its easy to see where you stand
Actually when I voted there was already a vote in place. So someone voted first then you... and then me.
But my vote is going to conservative on the 23rd.

i think that voting is the only way to inflict change but however i would rather go tell a politician to his face what normal everyday citizens want to see.. i couldnt care less how muc money goes into education if theyre gonna do nothing about gun violence.. would you rather educate 50% of the population and lose the other 50% to guns violence and homicides? they tell the youth to vote ..whytf dont tehy open up a debate or a political meeting b/w the youth and the politicians ..no parents no nothing. so thyehy can hear whats at the root of the youth problem.. *** politicians , theyre all a bunch of money hungry liars. im definately not voting liberal..

better speaker? more confident..oh come on , they dont even ****in write their own damn speeches...

I'm spoiling my ballot.

I'm either going to put down random racial slurs/images or just cuss words.

i'm 1) voting for whom i think should be brought into power and 2) it's unfortunate, but i also have to vote with an outcome in mind..so i have to vote strategically
imo a vote for ndp or green is a wasted vote, because the only party that could boot the liEberals..oops, fiberals, oops i mean....you know, the crooks... would be the conservatives, so any vote not directed towards them would be a chance at change lost

for instance
liberals get 48 votes
conservatives get 47
everyone else shares 5

who gets power again?? and the screwed up way this country works you vote for seats, so the odds get even worse yet

I see a few votes here for Green. I hope you are running a stock cat in your ride and your O2 sensors are working!
