Evil Rape Victims

Pakistan rape laws

I guess sometimes it makes sense to punish rape victims unless there were 4 witnesses?

What is there not to get.

Groups in pakistan are angry by the thousands that rapists are going to be judged under harsher terms.

For example, right now, for a rapist to be found guilty, there must be 4 witnesses.

Other countries like Iran, the government murders the rape victim because she put herself in that position instead of not acting like a ****.

My thread topic is sarcastic.

Kinda tough to get 4 witnesses... So you either gang bang and all 5 get caught for raping, or you go 1 on 5 and see if you can get lucky?

i was glad to see that this happened. the original ordinance of 1979 was as retarded as it could be. now....this president and the government came up with the amendment which promises a fair and easy trial as opposed to ther former.

those who oppose such a change, are total extremists and are closed minded people resistant to any positive change that can be made to the system.

i bet you that the SILENT MAJORITY of the people are not opposed to such an amendment.

so pakistan is killing the rape victims unless the have 4 witnesses?

So pretty much you can rape anyone as long as its just you and her......damn, you can have a 3 some rape show and still nothing will happen?

I'm so confused to why would they allow that.....

they dont necessarily kill the victims.....dont get what the media says in literal terms....infact..there has been hardly a case where they have killed a victim since she was not able to produce a witness....afterall..how retarded it is to expect the victim to do this in the first place.

the point is...if a woman is raped..and the case goes to trial (not many victims will usually go to the courts in fear of retailation), the case previously had no chance of going anywhere unless there is some evidence or witnesses.

sadly speaking, in a country where the rich are above the law and can do whatever....people take matters in their own hands cuz they know the law sucks.

how does the islamic world expect themselves to be taken seriously and respected when they can't respect 50% of the world population?

I mean really, rallying against changes to a law that will allow a woman to bring somone that has violated her to justice.

Human rights groups are looking at this as a step int he right direction... I just end up wondering why people justify going against his changes.

Jason...maybe you didnt read what i wrote earlier.

islamic world = 1 billion people
such extremists = only a few thousand lunatics

they are not the majority. so dont blame a whole worldwide community for it....its more important for the non-muslims to understand how such events and news is used to label the community as such.

such protestors are usually brain washed, uneducated people who dont know what they are doing...they are still living in a stone age mentality.

Well why doesn't this "silent Majority" Speak out and get involved and state they want Woman's Rights. I agree that it's probably a minority thats protesting ... but it's the part thats making noise and getting seen, that to me is a problem. if I was part of a group that had radicals in it I'd either be vocally opposed to them and create just as big a stink.

because it's not an issue for the silent majority unless they themselves or someone they cared for was raped.

people don't care about eachother... it's the same reason why people in the states aren't stopping the war for oil... you think the news reports in Iraq say anything about americans wanting an end to the war?
