grab some color matched paint from crappy tire or sherwin williams, paint them and clear coat em, it should turn ouyt fine

done..did it...looks sharp.can't even tell that i did it at home.
wut i did was i sanded the lids with 320 grit sand paper...smothed em out...this took a lot of the red paint off....then i painted the back black with tremclad....then it dried...washed it....then used some rubbin alcohol...cleaned it....no need for primer....i gave it a few coats of white frost...it sat...did it again unitl it was covered.....let it dry for 15 min ,and i hit it up with clear....few coats...let it sit...blwo dried it...and its smooth as class.....they are on teh car, but they don't look like they are an extension of the body...same colour...but they sit out more
