Father exposed to crazy EMF... does earthcalm work?

My dad is exposed to CRAZY amounts of EMF at work... he works with electronic generators and his health is goin down the drain rapidly, yet he wont change his job, and I just get really scared for him at his age... nearing 50.

Anyways I'm looking into this EarthCalm stuff, and I'm wondering if it really works...or atleast helps...

http://www.earthcalm.ca/
http://www.earthcalm.com/pages/main.php

Specific product I'd like to purchase for him:
http://www.earthcalm.ca/index_files/Page2345.htm
http://earthcalm.com/store/product_i...?products_id=2

...any idea if this is legit, or just a load of BS... ?
Any suggestions for other products that may help...

what about an iPod? Ear plugs would be cheap too.

If I was forced to listen to EMF all day I think I would be sick too.

---

don't waste your money on stupid trinkets.

If he's sick he should go see a doctor.

I mean one with a medical practice covered by OHIP.

Not an Asian Witchdoktor who does alternative medicine.

I would consult a naturopathic doctor

regular doctors are useless nowadays... or get the doctor to send him to a specialist.

superstitions and old wives tales are not something to put faith in for anything important.

are the generators high frequency or line frequency (60hz) ?

the more dangerous EMF is the high frequency, high power ... ex. microwaves ...
if its low frequency, there's nothing to be worried about.

no, order bloodwork from a lab.

much better to see how your body is running instead of buying magnet bracelets for arthiritis, vitamin b and calcium injections to cure cancer, and foot massages to remove HIV.

Well, if he's in a vocation what deliberately exposes himself to EMF then he should be wearing gear provided by the employer to protect him from it. If not, he should be seeing a doctor very soon and having the company pick up the tab at the very least - if not, I see grounds for a very lucritive lawsuit in the making.

or they could refer you to a specialist..
a regular doctor doesn't have sufficient training to help with anything with EMFs

I think you should research more about naturalpaths...
I'm not saying they're a better alternative then doctors, but you obviously don't know what they do

It's amazing what people will pay and gladly believe when they are desperate.

In fact, here's a link to become one.

http://www.naturopathicassoc.ca/
http://www.ccnm.edu/

theres a difference between what you posted and what i've posted

ND are pretty highly trained...
theres a college at lislie and sheppard

4 years full time...
i didn't (still not a big fan of them) believe in it as all, but talking to some and looking into deeper i've changed my perceptive

yeah yeah yeah, they talk about acupuncture.

anyone i know who has gone to any of these turkeys has always come out at a loss with the exception of one person who went for allergies.... but i still say the witchdoktor didn't do anything useful because he stop eating out completely and stopped eating preserved food. i could have told him that.

most of them are scammers or idiots who believe their own miracles.

chiropractors can be some of the worst!

if i chose a job that included a daily regime of being bitten by cobras and complained that i think the venom was bad for me...... what would you think?

has he worked there for a long time and his health started diminishing quickly? If so, based on the episodes of house I have seen, you're going to have to start treating him for an infection, as well as sarcoidosis. fingolfin and Buddah, go to the patients home and workplace and look for any toxins or parasites.

----

man, if anyone health is visibly deteriorating they should be going to a doctor, then another doctor, and another doctor.

Doctors will usually do a few tests and upon you insisting a more thorough check will order additional tests or send you to a specialist.

Buying stupid unscientifically proven trinkets do nothing but waste your money and help the bank accounts of those who feed off people's fears (kind of like a church)

if your dad doesn't care about his health and well being, there isn't much you can do.

you can try blackmailing. "every day you don't get it checked out properly, i'm going to get drunk at home"

you can equate his concern with you as with your concern for him.

then the EMF is quite harmless as its at 60Hz ... all powerlines and such emit EMF ... and we are all still alive and well ... high frequency EMF (like cellphones and such) are more dangerous
