you also have to be sure that they have nothing against you....from your post...it seems like they didnt tell you anything particular...nor they gave you some idea directly or indirectly.

suppose you go to the labor board hearing...and you have one of their reps. in front of you and he comes up with something that you (matt) were involved in something objectionable while at work (you may not be aware) or you used company resources or time for something which was not permitted....the list goes on and on.

employers have too much power anyhow...there has to be some reason behind this....im not saying at all matt that you are at fault but just a heads up that there might be something you dont know at all.

Thats total bull ****. After 6 years they get rid of you, thats ****ty. Good luck with the labour board. Thats shady business, I thought you need to have a valid excuse for dismissal after 3 months of working there?

generally speaking, they need not only a valid reason, but if it's not something big like assaulting an employee, they have to give you a written warning before firing you.

A most excellent month goes by in Australia, completely awesome, best time ever in my life

Sept 21 2006, 1 day since I get back my co-worker/good

Sept 23 2006, I go into work 8am like normal before I left catching a ride with my buddy

Seems like a month to me
