Fill up now.......

Just found out an old school freind works for a gas company. (Duy uses this gas religiously).

Guess what he told me?

UNOFFICIALY........
"I would fill up on mondays and thursdays if i were you........perferably in the morning."

And they say they don't fix the prices.

It was at **.9 near the airport........watch.......after work tomorrow, it will be around 76 - 77 cents.......just you watch.

I'm filling up tomorrow morning.

I used to work at a gas station, and we'd just get an automated call and an auth #, so I'd print it up and punch it in the computer and all the prices changed automatically....the call was automated at head office I guess. I've seen the manager call into head office, and change the price (lower) to match other gas stations.

what part didn't you understand?

UNOFFICIALY........(Quote

That's what he told me...........I started to notice this recently too.

I always said to myself......"I'll fill up after work." and when I did wait until after work......BAM!

(I get paid every Thursday.....that's why I noticed it.)

The prices keep droping during to rest of the days.....but when Mondays and Thursday roll around........

Is that clear enough?

yeah,
i had a friend who worked at a gas station too and he noticed the same thing, and sometimes there would be odd times when it gets cheaper by fluke and then he'd call me and i'd go in and gas up! it proved very useful, but thankfully i'm not driving for another 3 months so i don't have to worry about the potential of 80 cents/L .... not until the summer anyways

Just put in $12 @ **. something a litre. Gave me about a half tank. My car gets such shitty mileage, about 300k to a tank. It's a 2.8 v6.

I've known this for 2 years. All you have to do is watch the gas station. I always fill up on monday morning. some stations (in my area) keep low until monday evening.

I filled up for 64.5 in St. Catherines on a Tuesday night before xmas. I notice the gas down there is always relatively cheaper.

40 L is about typical for all Civics and most econo-imports for that matter.
