Thank God i don't drive a V8
Have you ever driven a V8, cuz if not the joke is on you

I love the way a V8 drives it's not the fact that it's massive and powerful, but just the sound of 8 cylinders firing away x 8 With the gas mileage my Saturn is getting right now (120miles/$25 tank of gas  ), I'd much rather have my old Crown Victoria back. That thing took $10/hour to operate on the 401 And I say operate since it's a boat.

Man....I even remember before that....when Canada changed over to the metric system for gas........when they finally did the conversion, it came out to be 22.5 cents a litre.
There was one guy downtown that refused to switch to the metric system, and he used the sell his gas the "imperial" way instead.

I also remember the dollar to be around 89 - 90 cents US.

Parents used to tell me when the came to Canada, the Canadian dollar was worth MORE than the US..... used to be around $1.25 Cnd.

no old jokes please.

I don't remember it...I didn't even cross the pond till 1992. The old country always had the metric system...that's all I ever knew.
