I don't think that is really... it looks like someone did a frankenstein swap on that thing. Or some guy facked a fish and you get half fish and half man.

Haha... for sure not real. The article is ghay like it was written for the paper, but the editor would have tossed half the things out like Alex said. No way they'd call "grandpaw" an old man 
Besides, if he had the presence of mind to put it in a god damned bucket, he'd know to put some water in the bucket to keep it alive. Duh... otherwise it'll start to stink.
Plus, I think a dead fish won't float at an angle in formaldehyde.... with the head down... HELL NO, it'll either sink all the way, or it will float belly up
Where is my BS flag...

if you can prove that its fake then post it in this thread..with evidence
other wise it'd be considered real.... the least to say its more likely real then to be b.s. cuz it's been in the japanese news papers.. that news paper was only published a few days ago... may 30th 2003... and if anybody who read japanese news papers please confirm...
