I wouldn't deal with these guys. Same owner as Station 28, if it's even called that anymore, and just big *** holes for the most part.

I remember trying to get parts for my last car and them telling me oh they don't make it for your car, when i knew they did (called the manufacturer).

They're prices are way out there too, for us caucasians at least.

PS: Love the dvd bootleg bars. Quality on the non-released stuff is crap on most because it's just a camera recording it. The dvd rips are always good.

Ive had nothing but bad experiences with them and they are all because im white and its proven.. for example i went to buy a game.. first they told me 25$ so i said forget it.. my asian friend went in 10 mins later to only worker in store at time and got it for 15.. no bargining... then the next time i wanted a game i went to store they told me they dont have it.... asian friend went in.. got it right there... sorry if it sounds racist.. but its the truth and they the racist and i love to see them get busted by the cops, because last time i saw them get busted the guy who was racist to me was crying to his wife that they are screwed (asian friend translated).. I didnt feel sorry at all...I will never shop there again because of the racism
on some cases, they ain't racist...
there are chances they think you're some undercover... i recall a few months ago, there was a raid on piracy... especially if you're not asian or you don't speak cantonese in general, you're classify as an undercover-possibility... that's why when you ask them for games, they would either say they don't have it or they don't sell it!

and for pricing situation, its normal for people to try to rip people off for profits... i'm sure there are whites who would try to rip off a china man in some flea market or something... its same idea how chiense would think white are stupid in a chinese mall, right? but of course reality is, no one is stupid anymore because we seek advices from each other and asian/whites/etc are more involve together as a group nowadays! so i won't call them crooks, just a typical way of doing business from the 90s style haha...

and for forumla imports, they have replicas and they also have authentic stuff... if you have money, go authentic, if you don't have money, go replica... usually they offer you replica products with a good price unless you ask for the authentic one... they tell you straight up its a replica and what price is it and tax in or not... my cousin knows one of the person who works there and my other cousin knows the owner and owner's gf of that store... they are quite nice and honest people too, wouldn't say the best, but atleast they are honest and tell you what they are selling... and if you want authentic, they can get it for you at the best price they can get too...

pac mall is well known for cheap stuff... but that doesn't mean everything is crap there... you just have to know your stuff too, do some homework, before you shop there...

I just hate that guy with the black/orange hair (long) with glassed taht always wears the raver type pants. This guy is the rudest person I've ever seen run a store. The other guy there is pretty nice actually, and will say more than two words to you in english.

I go to Pacific Mall all the time... To say the people there are racist is probably just a one time bad experience. Like said above most of the time if your not asian they suspect you to be an undercover. Yes, its true if your white they may try to hike the price on you, but to be honest.. they do that with a lot of people white or non white. If you bargain them down they will come down on the price. I'm asian and I go there and sometimes on different days they give me different prices, but you can always bargain them. That is the key.

Over priced, and most are knockoffs. You can find better prices elsewhere for everything car wise. Those booths cost one sh*tload of $$$ to rent, so you know they are going to pass off the cost to you.

Rent is higher than that Charles. I have a friend whose son has a game store there. Closer to $900. Plus taxes, utils, etc...

And yes, businesses are in the business to make money - aren't we all? But some are run more unscrupulously than others. What keeps a store alive is REPEAT business.

I found that our wonderful affliates and sponsors are the ones who in general, are the most accomodating. Especially for us paid members.

Maybe that was a deal or something, I saw that sign at the corner of Steeles and Kennedy a while ago.

Makes me wonder how some of those clothing botiques survive. They must have a second store or business else where.

As Cantonese likes to call it: "Swatting Fly!"

Especially in that complex. Many stores - same owners. Pack em in and confuse them. Cash parts easily from one's wallet then.

The units in that mall are all individually owned. So perhaps that's how some of the shops there have been around for a long time -- owners are using the units themselves to conduct business.

There is no such thing as customer service in Asia with the exception of Japan. They depend on a massive population to stay alive. Their attitude is if you won't buy it someone else will because 10 million people walk by my store everyday. That is the attitude you see in Pacific Mall. These people have brought their bad habits with them over to this country but guess what? It doesn't work over here.

haha... a few of the clothing stores at pac mall are under the same owner... coz they ran around looking for stocks hahaha...... so funny..........

you know what... it all depends on who's serving you and if you're lucky or not...... one time me and my gf went into this clothing store... the sales was horrible, no service at all... when we ask her questions, she was like 1-word replies or no reply at all, and she's on the phone all the time... then when those elder people who looks rich walks in, she hung up and social with them... that was pure ghey... the next time we went back, another sales was there... she was awesome....... great service, talks with us a lot and also tell us about the fashion stuff too... my gf end up just buying 1 thing, after trying on like 5-6 piece of clothing, but she was still nice and gave us an extra 15% off...

i don't know what's the asia-attitude, but i guess it all depends what kinda service-orientation the sales carries... you know... even at foot looker, you can have a bad sales... even at futureshop, you can have a jerk that doesn't serve you properly... know what i'm saying... its just that a pac mall... majority of the bad service people are concentrated in one location, so you find pac mall to be horrible...

the key to best service is to walk into a store.
and act like your going to steal stuff.
those guys are PAC mall LOVE THAT ****.
they will stick to you like flies on **** they will follow you everywhere and try to talk to you as much as possible.
i noticed this when a person walked into the same store I was in with a friend and acted like he is going to steal **** and the service rep was following him all over the place while his friend was stealing stuff without them knowing cuz he was on the opposite side of the room

At least they tell you that before you buy it instead of not telling you and you being stupid enough to think they are real.

Crooks or not, they have good prices, and thats what matters at the end of the day. Not everyone can afford the "true" versions.

Not going to agree that the attitudes these people give is wrong. But I believe a lot of what they do still works. If it didn't they wouldn't be in business. You'll learn this in business ... you can keep customers with good service, but can you honestly say your going to buy the same product for a higher price just because the cashier gives you a bad look? Frankly, I always look for the best price, customer service doesn't mean jack to me when it comes to buying a product. However when it comes to servicing my car, or things like that its a different story. Asians do business in low cost high quantity (Poor Service) and the opposite of course is High Cost selling lower quantity with higher service. Both do work.
