If you have italian in your blood, then that's enough. And since when does it even matter if you are from that nationality?

Yo dude you arent from Atlanta, you cant cheer for the thrashers because you have Atlanta grandparents!

Ya, I agree that anyone can cheer for any team regardless of whether or not you have blood relations to that country. And if you trace anyone far enough back you could probaly find some sort of blood relation to just about any country.
It's just funny that I know so many people who are Canadian 364 days a year, barely watched the World Cup at all, then today go crazy and travel to St. Clair so they can say "we" won for hours and hours. But whatever floats your boat .

Zidane got what he deserved by being ejected, he could have easily cost them the game, because he would have probably made his shot in the shootout... what a tool... i agree that NOTHING justifies that headbut, when you're a pro footballer you have to keep cool especially when you're in the world cup championship match and you're the best player on your team... stupid stupid move

either way ITALIA! it was a good game, and regardless of who you guys think 'should' have won, all that matters is that italy DID win... !!!!

I lived in Italy for 3 months, next to Canada and Taiwan. So I guess I am part Italian.

And I saw a car with big France flag and small ones drove towards Woodbridge as I came out of it yesterday.

I wonder what happened to that one.

I was there around 5 30 going west. Saw a red Ferrari, took a photo of it.

Then I saw a 18 wheeler with the back trailor full of people making a left turn on 7 from Kipling. It was madness.

ok so since this crap is pretty much done .. new topic ......

WOULD YOU SUPPORT CANADA IF THEY MADE WORLD CUP ?
--------------------------------------------------
i was talkin to someone today and we got on the topic of, would you as a born canadian have the same passion and pride you do now for a country that is only "heritage" right now in the World Cup ?

basically meaning everyone is pretty much claiming countries that thier parents were born in meanwhile they were born in Canada so would they be called "bandwagonists" if lets say hell froze over and Canada made the World Cup 1 year ?

discuss.....
