If you want to try Matouk's theres a caribbean grocery store on Baldwin St off of Spadina in Chinatown. Right beside Roach-o-Rama. Makes for an interesting shopping trip. If you are down there you can buy fresh Scotch Bonnet peppers as well. As the guy behind the counter said:

"These yellow ones are mostly for flavour, but if you like it a little hot try the red ones"

I was cutting up the yellow ones and my fingers started hurting. I realized that the plastic bag that I was holding the peppers with had been flipped around. Needless to say the chili that got made that day set records. Until my buddies little sister, she's about 10 yrs old, 4ft tall and tiny, came in and shamed everyone there by having seconds.

After looking at those pics of Matouks that Cynikal put up I realize that theres another flavour. The one that I like is called Flambeau. Its mostly Scotch Bonnet with a little water and seasoning thrown in.

The worst hot sauce is dominoes hot sauce, holy crap, taste like vinegar with some black pepper in it, eh. I'm gonna try that Matouk stuff though, and that goodmorning burger sounds good to.

I just had some of the "new" frank's and its not bad as a "buffalo" wing sauce but like I said its not hot at all...It is a new recipe from back in the day thats for sure, frank's was never as thick as it is now

for the general public its an alright sauce
