had a bad week at work.. god damn need to steam out...

Heres how it starts:
i work at best buy in car audio.. and i was walking around after stour hours and someone todl me to blast music from the boom room.. i didn't have a cd.. so he offered to get one... he got the game... ok cool.. so he plays it and i like it... and said.. is this yours? "ye" can i borrow it "ye no prob bring it back"
ok so i borrow it and bring it back the next day.. drop it off at the front and what not..
turns out it was the stores copy and thats basically theft...

so managers found out sumhow.. (when i dropped it off he wasn't there)
and i went in office with them there and they asked about the cd... and told me it was stores property..
so i tried to save both our asses and said that he let me take it BUT he didn't say it was his (even thugh he did)

so.. they said theyll look into it... but this guy said he didn't know anything about me taking it and whatever and said he didnt say it was his either.. so manager is like one of u is lying and he will leave the room and come back to hear some one fess up... if we both have diff stories still were both fired.. if sum1 fesses up well c what happens....with only me and the guy in the room he still denied saying anything... so i was like ye i took the cd without asking or w..e.. so he sent that guy out of the room and fired me..

i went bilistic... and told him the whole ordeal and what not.. so now he sends me back to the department.. and doesn't say anything about it for the rest of the day.. and goes home.. and i wont see him to wednesday and god damnit i dunno whats gonna happen.. i can't take this.. its killing me

i jus dun wanna get fired cuz i actually enjoy this job and dont want to leave

why did you say you took it without asking? that makes it seems like your fault to the manager so you got fired. why were you bailing the guy out by making that comment ("so i was like ye i took the cd without asking or w..e.. so he sent that guy out of the room and fired me.. ") ?

You should have just told him the whole truth from the begining, why would u wanna save this guys @$$ when he is being a liar. Obviously he doesnt care if you get fired, so you shouldnt worry about getting him fired.

yeah places lke best buy and futureshop could care less... they know there are enough people who would want to work there, and everyone is replaceible... hell each store has like 200 employees so somone does n e thing its an oportubity to get someone new who wants to work that mkes less money...
and n e where you work, wheather its theft of a candy bar or tv they have to let you go, theft is theft....

you should of told him the truth, you telling him a meesed up story made it look bad, and most peopel can tell when others lie cause majority of the time it doesn' make total sence...

that sucks soo badly but i hope it works out for u in the long run. heres mine. i work at penzoil in brampton last weekend this one guy doesnt put oil in the car and the guy starts his car up. oil light comes on. so they turn it off again. and they try to reset the oil light (GM) so they start it again. it ran for like a good minute. so they check the oil and there was no oil in it. and the dumb guy blames me when i was only pumping the tires. its sad. but there was a video... and since he cant realy get fired (since he is one of the only full-timers) he got yelled at like mad but the owner and the manager. but he still thinks its me. how sad is that. he only blamed me because im still fairly new to the job, he just thinks i dont know to much about cars.

I hate to say it but you learned a very good lesson the hard way.

1) if it's possible to be stores property don't bother asking to borrow it. even if it is his, the store could see it a different way

2) Always blame the other guy. take no **** it was there fault.

3) stick to your story. never change it.

4) tell the turth off the start it'll be easier to do number 3 then.

definatly learned my lesson.. i'll find out either tommorrow or wednesday... this guy and i were cool before.. but turns out hell b fired sooner or later.. he's apperently into theft from what i hear ( his exgood friend) but if i get fired no way hes staying.. i'm taking him down with me...... i jus wanna get this over with.. cuz if i am done here i'm gonna go work for bell mobility
