in 5 or 6 weeks i've done more then he did.... well he probably did more.... but i didn't really post for like 5 days last week.... lots of lost opportunity.... hahaha i'm on page two of the top posters list now too
anyways though taking an automatic is a good idea for sure.... but if your confident enough on standard you can.... just gives them more ways to fail you.... but also remember if you do fail... its not nessessarily your fault... they have quota's too

BLIND SPOTS BLIND SPOTS BLIND SPOTS!!! do them on every turn/lane change, even if you dont think its nececary, just say sorry sir/mam its a habbit to check my blind spots all the time that butters them up nicely, they eat it up...lol and also make a head movement every time you check your mirrors, so they see your checking them all the time...extra brownie points

They're supposed to last about 45 minutes, but when I performed my test I was done in about 20 minutes.
I did it at the Vic Park & Lawrence location and they guy asked me to go North on the DVP, East on 401 exit Vic Park and then we went through some residential areas where I had to perform an emergency stop and a 3 point turn. Uhm, no parallel parking or even reversing into a parking spot! I was out the night before practicing parallel parking too! But tons of lane changes!!
I think that key thing is to make sure you're checking your mirrors and blind spots.

I dont have my G but ive been told it may be a good idea to just take a refresher course with a driving school, they'll tell you what you need to do, and it'll just refresh your memory, i think you can go in and just ask for a refresher course and it's like an hr long i believe
