Gas....?

I might just give in to this. Is it unconditional & are all P-C stations participating? If so, why is there still a mad rush for gas when the cost is set to drop abruptly -but less than 5c- at stations OTHER than Petro-Canada, when all those non-Petro-pumpers could just enroll for a 5c off card any time?
In any case, I'm a higher-than-average-kilometerage driver & I've been strictly Shell for 6 years now & haven't even got an EasyPay Tag. A P-C pump station is closer to my home, so would it be worth switching over? Any reasons (aside from the politics of Canadian vs. US oil production) why someone would favour one gasoline brand over another?
Additive detergent content? Points / Rewards cards?
Interested in some feedback; don't know much about this topic & could really benefit from a few good ideas... thanks.

All these P-C discount gas card holders must have previously purchased enough gas / goods to accumulate 15K pts to qualify for this "reward card"?
And then restrictions still apply?

My wife use to have that. But it seemed like you need a transport truck style tanks to get the savings. She used only Sunoco gas for a year (filled up once every two weeks) and at the end of the year, she only saved $10 off of the membership. Hardly worth it, if you ask me.

but come to think of it, even though gas prices go up or down. the big gas companies always have the same prices anyway so deciding on which gas station to go to wouldn't matter that much?
81.2 cents when i got home... 8:10pm

I get free car washes at work...wash my car every day if I wanted to haha...I save my petro points so in like 20years I can get a free washer/dryer or something cool hahaha

LOL! Petro Points are not really useful for anything anymore. I use Petro Canada to buy gas, but I only use the points to wash my car once in a while, especially in the winter when it's too cold to wash it by hand.

I find that their washes does a sh!tty job. Always missing spots that are so noticable. At least it gets most of the salt off during the -30 degrees weather.
