when i was out this evening it was 82.9... one station in burlington was 83. something

if you put it in perspective though... we are getting a sweet deal on gas compared to europe and such areas....

although unlike car insurance if gas goes up in price your still at least getting something... ie. the ability to drive...

true, gas is super expensive in europe, but insurance it dirt cheap. so it basically evens out in the end.

you go to togasprices.com and compare the canadian and US average price .. their price (once converted) is like 10 cents cheaper on average....

i'd still rather spend $100 a year for insurance and pay like $50 to fill my car though.... just makes you feel better about the cost cause you can actually use it... rather then an insurance policy that is always growing yet it doesn't do anything

best thing to do is to not bitch about it and pay the prices

totally agree with ya. when i was there at christmas, i went with my aunt to pay her insurance and i asked him how much it would be a year for me and he said around 500 dollars. he nearly **** his pants when i told him how much i payed here. he said even if I had a terrible driving record, i wouldn't be paying as much as i do hear.

How much do you guys pay for insurance??

Because we r paying the equivilant of ca$1.60 per litre for gas (petrol), and thats 95octane, not 97.

BTW, my insurance is ca$1000 per year on my D15 civic, but thats for an over 25, 5 years no claims bonus.

Yesterday afternoon.. it was 83.9 @ Petro Canada @ Leslie & York Mills.
In the evening it was 82.9.

In the evening yesterday.. Islington & Dixon was 81.9.
And Ironically.. I saw people lining up for gas...

I was told it'll go as high as $2/liter but that's what I hear. Who cares? Until you can make your own gasoline STFU and take it like a man Maybe when the prices go up, V8 cars will be dirt cheap, and maybe I can buy one dirt cheap then, like during the 70s gas crisis.
