why is gay pride promoted and seen as a good thing, but things like white pride aren't?

i'm not into white pride, i'm also not in gay pride.

i'm having trouble grasping the fundamental difference... the legal right... some hill billy running around yelling he likes white people is no worse then some guy in leather assless pants running around yelling that he likes *****.

why is there a big huge difference....wouldn't both be just being proud of who you are and if so why would it be soo bad to go around saying "i'm white and proud of it"
now i could see this as being a problem if you were walking through regent park maybe.

illest civ... care to elaborate on why homosexual issues are should be such a large part of society.

i never said white supremist. i said white pride.

i personally don't care and think they should have EQUAL rights.

I do not agree that they should have special privaleges such as the drinking hour extended to 5am for them and nothing else such as the world cup which would actually take place after during off hours in regards to booze.

people running around the city half naked is not something i wish to be done in my city. imagine having kids, taking him to the park, and seeing two guys half naked making out and groping eachother.

maybe if these gay parties maintained a level of class... i've been to biker parties that were classier than some of the gay **** you see at their parties

Summer of 1995, one night, I walked back to dome after a late school project across Queen's Park. This was in early September. I was in Year 2.

It was dark and the lighting at Queen's Park wasn't bright. At first, I saw a group of 4, scattered about 6 meters apart. As I walked closer, they started to closing in on me. Once I passed them, they followed me. They weren't running or anything, but they were walking. I felt like been chased by zombies. One of them asked if I had a light or something (which I did, I smoked back then) but there was no way I would stop, gave them the light and let them potentially gang bang me or whatever.

So I passed the first group.

At the statue area (the man on horse, with tons of bird **** on his face) behind a tree, I saw what I thought a man, stood there pissing. Hey, any guy who had one too many glasses could have done this. That goes without saying. But as I walked closer and behind the tree and onto the other side, I saw a person, on his/her knee, giving him what we call, in a sophisticated term, oral sex. But I do believe that it was a man, the body resembles one.

So I passed the second group.

Then I was about to cross Queen's Park Circle, onto the other side, my dome, that's when I encourtered the 3rd pack.

A man was on the bench, with his arms ****** and on the bench back, like he was enjoying a nice cold summer night when I saw what appears to be a white hat, sitting on his lap area. White hat is fine, maybe he was wearing it and took it off but the white hat was moving, not left to right which could have been blown by the breeze but it was moving up and down. The giver also looks like a man, figuratively speaking.

I passed all three group, crossed the road, came back to the dome, open the ground floor door, walked up 3 flats to my floor, walked down the hallway and entred my room.

That's when I thought - damn, St. Michael's College is an all male residence.

See i dont understand that they get their own day, but there is a straight day. Ever think of that one? Its just because straight people are a minority.. Which i think they should have that a straight day. So you can *** you chick on younge street with everyone else watching.

Let them do what they want; none of us are going to go and stare at ***** and butchy dykes all day, so who cares.

I find it very odd that this is the only weekend in the year that the gay people in my neighbourhood / area actually come out and act gay. I'll be walking around the streets and see all the homos holding hands...like where the hell did you come from!? If you're so proud of it, then don't hide for 51 weeks and then explode into public. Maybe if people were used to seeing a homo they wouldn't get so worked up about it.

Everything will be back to normal on Monday.
