Ghetto Blaster
Why is it called that?
I overheard my hick neighbour yesterday yelling that it was called that because all the people in the hood/ghetto would hold it on their shoulder and blast their music.

and why is it assumed that only black ppl would carry one ?
"to make white folks angry" .... what about the black folk in the area ? they are assumingly supposed to automatically enjoy whats being played at all times ?

who doesn't know what a ghetto blaster is? oh yeah thats right lots of people on here were born in the late 80's and didn't actually live in the late 70's early 80's. here i thought it was common knowledge...

thats right playa...but in all seriousness...a lawn sale would be the last place to find one unless it was a back in the day white dude that thought he was a beastie boy now all grown up selling away his lost youth...they should make a re-issue with mp3 cd and mp3 player input but still with all the ghettoness to go along with it...maybe with a rechargable battery pack so u dont need like 30 D cell batteries
