Exclamation god damn virus's

WATCH OUT VIRUS's going around in emails.. i didn't open it but i think sum1 on my comp did and i dunt know how to get rid of it.. virus scan didn't pick it up and the goddamn virus puts **** in every goddamn folder AHAHAHAHHAHAHHHA .. i dunt know how to get rid of it.. its some file that isn't **** but has **** names in every damn folder it took over an hour to delete over 3000 files!!!!!!!!!!! i deleted them all and am doing a virus scan again.. but i want to make sure it doesn't come back how do i do it.. its puts 84 files into reg folders like program files how can i get rid of it :cry: o man i am sooo pissed right now... what can i do?!!?!??!?!??!?!??!?!? ****FUCIK

do you have XP? system restore, go back a few days, if that doesn't work go back even farther...

well kazaa sucks... nor would i trust an anti virus program coming off there.... probably a slew of viruses in it...

i think my dad bought the norton thing though i had mcafee (sp) on the last comp that was downloaded though

i got norton.. either 03 or 04.. and it doesn't detect anything.. i dunt know what to do... it doesn't seem to "affect" my computer except put thousands of these file EVERYWHERE.. if i delete them and restart they re-appear.. i don't know what to do about this

ye it is always upgrading and says i have all the new virus protectino crap but it says sumthing about subscription.. will it not work if i don't subscribe??

subscribing is free if you bought hte product... i dont know mine updates regularly and i never get anything on my comp

k i got norton working again but the prob is it detects it but its like protected and cannot be deleted and crap.. when itry to delete it manually it wont let mt access denies or w.e. is there any way around that?

Virus' are a bitch. I had 96 on my computer. Thats right 96 b/c my norton was like expired if that is possible. Now i only have 3, but the problem wiht it was i had to remove them manually by finding them which was a pain. Sometimes Norton wont delete them for you, they will just tell you where they are or the file name.
