not only amateurs want to play ever second! I hate going with my g/f and she is decent. I just like being about to think about my shots instead of hurry because I am with other. Plus going with people who are better then you, you learn stuff and its elevates your game.

Jeeze. I thought it was a great idea that you posted on here to look for golf partners. If I was available I would love to get out. Meet some new people, try out a new golf course...sounds win-win to me. Maybe another weekend. A bunch of TCC'ers should get out for a round sometime....all except for EX99 though, I don't think I want to meet him!
