Nero Ultra 6. Very good, have never made a coaster ever! Even with DVD-R. Excellent.

alcohol 120%

Best program! Allows you to play/run .iso's without burning them.
I run all my games off my hard drive, much quicker gameplay.

Nero Ultra 6 Ultra does that too. Comes with a program called ImageDrive. Much easier to use than Alcohol 120% imo. I have used both and they are great for mounting downloaded movies or programs to view/install off the HD.

Re: good burner software??

ever since going with 2k i can't get Roxio 5.3.5 to work..
anyone got anything tested and proven and easy to use??
I found that after re-installing W2K, I couldn't get my EasyCD5 to update to v5.3.5 to recognize my burner... so I dropped it and switched to Nero6..... BEST DAMN thing I could have done!

Also is there a way to get CDtext on a burned cd?
Yeah, use Nero6. My car stereo doesn't recognize the CDs I burned with EasyCD5, but it does now with Nero6 (well, so far at least my first one did).

Nero Ultra 6 Ultra does that too. Comes with a program called ImageDrive.
Haven't tried that yet, but now that you mentioned it....
