Good Pub in TO for college/univ students?
like the title says..... whats a good pub with reasonable prices.. that most college/ university students go to ? on a saturday nite

Every time I've ever gone to Peel Pub the staff have made me feel like I'm inconveniencing them by drinking at their bar.
"You can't bring that drink over here." As I take 4 steps away from the bar where I just bought the drink.
"You can't stand here." As I walk up to my table of about 15 people to say hi and grab a seat.
That plus mandatory coat check, the carding of everyone who walks in the door (except, apparently, for underagers since the one on King St. has lost it's license a couple of times for that).
That beer isn't cheap enough to justify putting up with that crap.
"You can't bring that drink over here." As I take 4 steps away from the bar where I just bought the drink.

i stopped going after they got their second bust
a lot of people said it was for recycling beer... but it wasn't.
they were closed for a year.. so they have to be strict.. management doesn't want it.. they probably didn't play ball with plain clothes 52 who were there to 'serve and protect'
same as club 107.. i used to go there all the time.. then the bikers stopped going.. and all the fred durst wannabes filled the ranks.. on top of that.. they've had a lot of problems with the liquor board and police who want to shut them down because they are the biggest club in sauga.... far bigger than anything else.. and they are not wanted there.... i don't go anymore.. the music has been watered down.. the drink prices went up.. and there is ALWAYS a hassle at the door..
we got kicked out twice in one night.. halloween.. they wouldn't let my friend in cause he was drinking in the line up (we were too smashed to think)... so this girl and i talked to that bouncer and distracted him.. asking about the liquor laws.. feigning interest.. while my friend went in with a different shirt and wig (someone elses halloween costume).. later on in the night, he swtiched his shirt and took the wig off.. the bouncers actually chased him through the club and told him he wasn't allowed in.
