You said you are getting the new car no? So I assume you are buying it? And since you have a S2000, I assume you love to drive standards. I for one wouldn't buy automatic just for the kicks. But you also said that someone else will drive the car so I, again, assumed that it might be your parents. And you were being very considerable cause not everyone drives standards so hence, you picked an automatic.

Was my assumption wrong?

There's too many jealous people... if your parents are loaded, and buy you whatever car you want... for you. I don't why anyone would turn that down. You'd be crazy to do that.

And if that's the case... the car they buy you is YOUR CAR.

Not judging you whatsoever. Why would I? I mean, I have nothing against you. I was simply making an assumption based on what you have typed in this thread. If I made a wrong assumption, it was just a case of misunderstanding.

I wouldn't be jealous when other people have more money than I do or more money than my parents or driving better cars or living in bigger house, that's just the reality of life - everyone is different. If I want to be bitter about it, then I better just lock myself and not meet anyone, ever, cause someone living 3 houses down is driving a M3, and I am driving a Civic. My classmate back in U had a 911 when he was 18. Rich kid? I don't think I need to say anymore about that. But we are good friends not because I am after his money, but for who he is and who I am.

Whether your parents make 100G a year or 500G a year, it has nothing to do with me. If they can afford the car and get you want you want, that's cool. It is just like I can afford a Happy Meal anytime I want, where some homeless kid might not be able to eat for days but that won't stop me from dinning out, no? I shouldn't feel guilty for spending 200 bucks on a fine meal just like your parents shouldn't feel guilty for buying you a 50G car. There is nothing wrong with that. It is all legit and hard earn money, so there is nothing wrong spending what you've earned.

well i went into scarborotown personally and i might get the neon instead everything is confusing now as money is being needed anywho...it was funny because when i rolled in with the s2k every salesman/woman watched as i back into a spot right infront of the main doors i walk in they all turn away lol one dude went outside and looked at my car go figured

the interest on the srt4 at the dealer i believe is at 6% and my line of credit is at 5 or 5.6% but for some reason I am thinking 4% but I must be stupid because I dont think they are offering it that low right now

only time will tell not really in a rush for a car no snow = more time

no hard feelings Nova Dust and BB1_EG6

On special occasions, my fiance and I would dine out and not worry about how much we spend. Mostly seafood.
