I was there at the crash site and have a full series of crash photos. Mosport's race rescue did everything they could to save him, but truth be told, the driver didn't have a chance.

Even if his helmet had not have impacted the wall beside the track when his car rolled and tumbled upside-down along the wall, the sheer violence of the car flipping and cart-wheeling down the straight would have ripped all of his organs free from the body's soft tissues and blood vessels, and his brain would have been turned into mush from repeated shaking inside his skull.

I think the only consolation is that if he had to go, he went about as quick as anyone could ever hope. The whole crash from initial lift-off to final landing was done in no more than about 5 seconds and looking at the photos, he was likely gone before the 2 second mark.

If you can post up the pictures that would be great, im definitely interested in seeing this, and learning a lesson and taking caution to how it may happened, so if i ever go there i'll be careful, and think about this crash.

I've already been asked for the pictures by others and turned them down. They show a man dying a very violent death. I would not want the driver's family to find and see those final images so no, I will not be sharing them with anyone.
