Guy/girl Him/her Dude/chick ????
What do you think that your car is ???? A guy? A girl? What do you refer to is as?
I know that my new car is a defenetly a DUDE. It just came out of my mouth when I had to refer to him to someone else. They thought it was wierd because they thought guys always refered to their car as her/she.
I guess its all in the feel. I thought my EG was a guy too. But an RX7 that I had and my last 5.0L were defenetly my favorite girls.

mine is a girl. i call her "girl" and "baby" sometimes and i refer to her as "her" or "she". but i also call her akkb (pronounced like as if it were a word) and bluebearmobile...although, blue bear is a boy so that doesnt quite work.

So I guess anyone who was ever given something or inherited something (inanimate object) from someone extremely close to you that passed away, and that something made you have a tremendous amount of feeling when you see it...... deems you to have psychological issues.
you cant be serious.

So to ask you a question, why cant the object of sentiment be a vehicle and if it was, why would you assume it to be a civic.
