Guys, I need your help....VERY nervious...interview...
Hey, I got an interview..im SO nervious becuase I REALLY REALLY REALLY want this position. Its a position at goodlife fitness, to be a membership coordinator. I want to work at the gym SO bad. ive had interviews before but I DONT want to mess this up...I want it so bad. I know the questions they ask are very general..just worded different depending on what employer interviews you. is there a site? I remmeber someone posting something...that gives good tips on answerss, on how to turn questions like...whats your biggest flaw? into a positive answere instead of actually saying what your flaw is. thanks guys

if u are good for the job there is nothing to be nervous about...every job I have got I went in knowing that I would get the job, never been turned down if I got an actual interview...just gotta be confident with yourself cuz thats whats gonna show...the actual answers they get from everybody are gonna be generally the same, its the way in which you answer that seperates you from the others...confidence is key!

GL.
My friend got a good at an all women's goodlife fitness. I don't talk to her much, but if I see her, I'll ask what questions they asked her.

Always follow up you biggest flaw with how you're correcting it. This shows that you work on your weekness'. Just go in with confidence, do everything to make yourself feel comfortable that day. Eat good, dress nice, get a good nights sleep. Mention your background in sales (if you have any), and that you're good speaking with people. Try to use key words that are related to the job like "up selling". Sit up straight and lean slightly forward to show intrest. Shake you interviewers hand firmly and remember to wipe off the sweat before. Try to toss in a joke here and there. You'll do fine, good luck.

Be careful with the confidence...It's a great tool but don't make yourself look cocky! I once had an interview and got the job but later my Boss told me she almost didn't hire me because she thought I was a "cowboy". she thought I was someone who thought I knew it all and would do everything myself.
Be confident but don't come across as a Know-it-all.
That's my advice.

MSNBC has a career section with a bunch of articles on interviews, it might be worth checking out for some possible question angles. The key to that weakness question is to actually be honest, since a good HR person will be able to tell from talking to you what area your weakness is in.
You can actually trick them to all hell too and by turning their corporate psychobabble bull**** around on them and absolutely nail that section of the interview. If you go with "shyness" and act really confidant throughout the interview but look at the floor when they say something nice about you, then they will think they have you all figured out, which they like, and when they ask you and you confirm their suspicions they will be congratulating themselves on being so smart and will like you for making them feel that way. You wil also look good since you only let a glimmer of shyness out so it looks like you have it well under control.
Keep in mind that HR people have complete control over people who don't work for the company but they are pretty much bottom of the barrel when it comes to internal departments. Therefore, they really like to feel important and smart. If you can do that for them then you're one person they'd like to see around the cafeteria.

Just relax, take a few deep breaths and you'll be fine.
The interviewer asks questions to hear you speak, to see how you think. They don't want to hear rehearsed crap.
Go in knowing your strengths and weaknesses.
Strenghts like being outgoing, a hard worker etc are good.
For weaknesses, i have always used "At times I try to take on too much, i need to delegate more when necessary."
So, it's not really a weakness get it?
Like someone said, sit up straight, listen to the questions, look at the person speakig to you. No big hand movements, etc etc.
Good luck.

if they ask what your weakness is it's simple... for me my answer is:
My weakness is I'm a perfectionist. I sometimes take longer to get a job done to make sure the job is perfect. I have gone past deadlines to make sure that the project I'm working on does not effect customers in a negative way

Just stay calm and always keep good posture and such. If they like you and who you are, so be very nice and show you have a great personality and someone great to work with, I dont see why you woulkdnt get the job. Onless they are jackasses.
