Have you heard of/tried Ethos?
I have a buddy in the states who swears by this stuff. It's a non toxic solution to saving gas and apparently this is the real deal. His old man drives an Escalade and he has an older turbo MR2 that they have tried it on. They noticed a hell of a difference. Anyhow, I was wondering if there was any interest for the product as I will be going to visit him soon and I will be grabbing a few of them to try it out. They come in 2's and cost about $90

I don't have much info I am currently googling it for more.
I found a video testimonials page, watched 2 so far and they seem legit.

whats the point of buying it when even if it does work it probably costs more than what you'll save in gas anyhow

2 bottles is $59.95 USD
that means for this to be worth it for me, these two bottles alone will have to save me almost a whole tank of gas.

"His idea was to use 'esters', which are tiny particles inside the formula to separate gasoline molecules and make the gas more effective. He sold these little bottles of transparent liquid. His claim was that it not only worked, it was also 100% natural and bio-degradable. Meaning, it has no alcohol and no petroleum in it, so it was environmentally safe."
It says a lot of the fake products contain alcohol.

What sounds like a scam about it? What more evidence do you want? Buy it, and you tell us. The name of the thread is "Have you heard of/tried Ethos?"

Why does everyone assume that "natural" means good?
feces is natural, and you sure as **** don't want to be fertilizing your lawn by squatting on a sunday afternoon, for a number of reasons.
having no alcohol or petroleum in it makes something environmentally friend? maybe it is radioactive.
who cares if the product itself is good for the planet or not, if you're saving on car emissions, it can be dirty, but acceptable because of it's function, no?
don't believe in stupid marketing.
if the advertised features don't make sense, you shouldn't even look at the product.
a punch in the face is all natural and has no harm on the environment. i would love to offer that service to a lot of people.

My dads friend uses it. He thinks its going to save the world but I don't believe it. They pay $75 for a gallon of it from some guy. I think thats a lot of money on gas that they have to save already.

an inefficient engine will always be inefficient, and additive wont help the burn characteristics of a bad chamber design/piston dome runner length etc. that said your car can run on a lot less quality fuel than 87 octane. my buddy was using a 60/40 petrol diesel mix for a year, back when diesel was a lot cheaper. what the internals looked like i dont know.....
